Glen from Toorak had been planning on surprising his family with a new TV installation and speakers for their theatre room. He wanted to talk to someone about redesigning the layout so that power cables were hidden, and the lighting was more functional.
Glen has used O’Shea Plumbing before to help with a sewer blockage and loved the service that was provided by the team. Glen decided to try O’Shea Electrical for a quote. Bailey attended the site the next day and had a chat regarding what Glen’s hopes and goals were for the room. It became clear that the power points required moving and a set of new dimmer lights was to be installed for optimal lighting and to hide the cables.
Bailey provided options for a simple install where he moved the power points and installed the new lights. Bailey also spent more time with Glen and suggested running the speaker cables through the roof space, so they were hidden and then created a different quote allowing Glen to decide which option best suited his needs.
Bailey made sure the family’s electrical system was safe and had a look over the switchboard and existing wires which proved to be in perfect condition.
Glen was very pleased with Bailey’s approach and accepted the quote as he could see that Bailey was not looking to upsell to a larger job than necessary and was focused on achieving Glen’s goals.
Bailey organised a time that suited Glen or rather, when his family was out of the house so the surprise, well could stay a surprise.
Bailey returned on the organised date and completed the job, making sure that Glen was updated along the way with how things were progressing. The works were completed, and Bailey showed Glen how to optimise his lighting, and sound and finished off with some reusable popcorn buckets for Glen’s family and friends.
